About Jordy

I left finance to become a barista. Best decision I ever made.

Jordy story

“The gap between who you know you are and who you're actually being — that's where I live. That's where we work.”

My story

I spent years doing exactly what I was supposed to do. Finance degree. Corporate job. The salary, the title, the trajectory that made everyone around me nod in approval.

And I was miserable.

Not dramatically — no breakdown, no single moment. Just a slow, quiet dimming. I kept thinking: this is the life I worked for. Why doesn't it feel like mine?

So I left. I became a barista.

People thought I was having a crisis. I was having a conversation — finally — with myself. And from that conversation, I built something I never could have built from inside the life I left. I went from barista to Director of Operations at a $1.3M business. Not because I followed a plan, but because I finally started listening.

I watched my roommate go from "I could never start my own company" to founding one — because someone finally asked her the right question. I've seen it happen again and again: when a woman gets honest about what she actually wants, the path becomes visible. Not easy. But visible.

Now I ask those questions for other women. The ones who've done everything right. The ones who are quietly, privately wondering if this is really it.

It isn't. And you already know that.

How I work

Three principles that guide every conversation, every session, every breakthrough.

01

I ask why — not what.

Anyone can tell you what to do next. What changes everything is understanding why you haven't done it yet. That's where we start — and where everything unlocks.

02

I see your potential before you can.

I watched my roommate go from 'I could never start my own company' to founding one — because someone finally asked her the right question. That's what I do. I hold the vision of who you're becoming while you're still figuring out she exists.

03

I work with your whole self — body, mind, and energy.

Clarity isn't just cognitive. Your body holds the answers too. The tension in your chest when you say yes to the wrong thing. The lightness when you finally say no. We listen to all of it.

Outside the work

I play as hard as I work.

I'm currently in yoga teacher training — because I believe the body holds what the mind won't say. I travel whenever I can. I believe in long dinners, late starts, and not apologising for either.

I built this coaching practice because the work I do with women is the most important thing I've ever put my name on. I don't take that lightly.
